You can't possibly see the real image of Mohammad - or Jesus, or Moses, or Buddha, etc.
There simply were no photographs, made, for any of them. No accurate drawings or paintings either that I have heard of. All of these came about afterward. Usually, a very long time after he and his immediate followers, were gone from this world. I think it's very important to separate the "image" that may be made, from the prophet himself, and from his message to us. No "image" can begin to describe the importance of their message, to millions of people, for hundreds of years. For the same reason, no "image", can diminish these prophets. A mere mortal may be seen to look ridiculous in a cartoony drawing, but these men were prophets, consecrated by God. That which God has raised up, no drawing will diminish. In any case, the cartoons seem a reflection of sociology, not religion. If many members of a group choose to bomb and shoot others, it will reflect on the group as a whole. That's the nature of groups, isn't it? Adak --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Algorithm Geeks" group.
