dear friend the problem that you try to solve is called "Instant Insanity Game",of course a brute force technique(via trial and error is not the best one).You can find a better solution through model you problem with a multigraph.try to google with the term above and you will find an idea(which is more sophisticated and only need a much less iterations to solve it).
