I checked with 2.0 German version WIN XP: [680m3(Build8968)] and also saw the
problem.
Images are included with therms like
'{ INCLUDEPICTURE \d "image001.jpg"\*MERGEFORMATINET }'
That works for WORD2000, I can see the images. When I open the document with OOo
2.0, I only see placeholder-images with wrong hyperlink http://image001.jpg,
that link will also be shown in the image properties box.
I believe the internet traffic is caused by the wrong internet hyperlink
'http://image001.jpg'
1.1.4 (German) WIN XP: [645m52 (Build 8824)] opened the document without
problems and showed the images.
