I think I discovered the cause, it does not have anything to do with saving, but when you move one of these pictures they are torn apart. Apparently while saving the pictures were moved a bit (or something like that). Just create a doc with some text and paste a picture somewhere inside it, set it's wrap option to "no wrap" and then try to drag and drop it somewhere else.
