I refer my experience to several computers, for example problem is very heavy on systems like this: Compaq Evo Pentium 4 at 1.5 Ghz, RAM 384 MB, graphic adapter Nvidia Vanta with 16 MB. Once you have opened a document (e.g. text document) with a fontwok inserted page scrolling is almost impossible, you see the fontwork very slowly re-drawed on any scroll of the page and the document become almost totally unusable. I solved converting the fontwork to a standard image (png or jpg) but it's only a workaround, not a solution. Maybe fontworks use a lot of video memory, so a 16 MB graphic adapter has difficulty to show them. Do really fontworks uses so lot of memory that a system like this cannot work property with them ?
