As a workaround, after opening the document in OO, open the Navigator window (F5). There expand the "Graphics" section. Now repeat the next step for all four graphcs listed there: right click on "graphicX" entry, select "Graphics->Edit" and adapt the graphic's size too a smaller one in the dialog. MRU->The graphics in the document are imported with too large size. Thus, if you try to click somewhere in the text, the graphic selection mode will be enabled.
