Yeah, it did work for me. Sorry, I should have mentioned that yesterday.
It just wasn't visually obvious that focus was on that list object.
For example, when focus is on buttons or radio buttons, then you see finely
dashed lines to indicate this. When the focus is on the combo box, you see
it highlighted in blue. When you then Tab to the list, there is no visual
feedback to indicate that you now have focus, even though it's there.

Maybe that's the real (low priority) bug...
