I believed OpenOffice was a great alternative to MS leadership but discovering this very old issue changed my mind ! There is no way working with that issue ! I don't want OpenOffice to be as Excel but as many suggested, when several cells or lines are selected in filter result, this selection MUST be considered as a DISCONTINUED selection (as if selected using CTRL key) and everything should work fine !
