It's enough to copy and paste contents, or delete a line of text, or other such things. I have a Gentoo system, OOo2.0.3 compiled on the box with the gnome USE flag used. I thought 2.0.4 (still masked on Gentoo) may have the bug resolved, but it didn't. The output below is from OOo2.0.4, again compiled on the box. The binary package showed the same behaviour. I could send you the odp-file that makes OOo crash, too, if that helps.
