------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Dec 31 13:52:47 -0800 2006 ------- Sometimes (not always) after I click the button to save a file that had already been saved before and this is just writing over, the progress bar at the bottom moves unusually slowly regardless of file size and the button I clicked to save remains highlighted. After the the progress bar finishes, the save button remains highlighted and soffice.bin starts hogging the processor, 100% if I don't do anything else (according to Activity Monitor). At this point the application is frozen. I've given it time, up to 20 minutes to see if things will eventually resolve but I eventually have to quit X11 to end it. The machine as a whole still operates and I don't have to reboot or anything. Next time I run OOo the error reporter comes up to restore the file (all it ends up doing is "recovering" the file as it was before my changes and the actual error report never comes up.
