2007 -------
No! Please!!!!! We were using this function with UNO to dynamicaly extend
tables, and with splitting it's imposible because after using split or join this
is no more a "simple table" but "advanced tables", and you can't use any reltive
navigation with it. 

So maybe you could make some checkbox in table properties to choose which
behavior you want to use?[or even global option for the whole writer, for me it
dosent metter as long as I can generate my tables with uno.] 

ps. Of course you can say that I should use the old OO, but I can't because
there is a bug in exporting line numbering to DOC format ;(

So once again... Pleeeeease help!
