User sba changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Assigned to|writerneedsconfirm |sba -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from s...@openoffice.org Tue Mar 3 09:03:57 +0000 2009 ------- SBA: The Office does NOT have a spell checker for English (Canada) by deafult. You can get one here: http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/en_CA - Download - Start Office - Tools - Extension manager [-> See what languages are supported already] - Click "Add..." - [Choose the newly downloaded .oxt] - After Installation finished, restart the office -> Spell check for En_CA does work. Notes: - The language is a character attribute. - Setting Document default language to EN_CA makes sense after the respective spell check extension is installed and enabled (via Toos - Ottions, Language Setting - Languages...), otherwise all new documents whould have the "Wrong" English set. Set to "Worksforme". --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
