------- Additional comments from a...@openoffice.org Tue Mar 24 12:28:37 +0000 2009 ------- AW: TextSimplePortionPrimitive2D contains the FontScaling for the text in the local transformation. Currently, Y-Scale is the font height and Y-Scale defines font scaling by using the internal representation from the Unix versions that there is no font-scaling when X-Scale equals Y-Scale. This definition has problems: (1) The numerical values are system-dependent since on Win-Systems the mysteriout FontWidth-Factor is contained (2) The value is not unified (3) The current definition has a undefined state when X and Y scale are the same WITH active font scaling For a better and more unified solution, it would be better to define the X-Scaling as direct font scaling. This would define 1.0 as no scaling and other values as direct relative scaling. This system-indepent definition can then be interpreted correctly from each renderer on each system. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
