To be realistic: There's no way this can be investigated without the problematic
application. Maybe you can save directly as gdi metafile instead of copying to
clipboard only.
As there seems to be an easy workaround (use the clipboard application) and it
is probably a bug/quirk of the generating application, closing worksforme.
