------- Additional comments from danie...@openoffice.org Thu May 6 14:37:06 +0000 2010 ------- If you open an MS Word document in Writer that uses page numbers starting on a higher value than 254. The starting number in Writer will be lower than in the MS Word document. How to repeat: 1. Create an MS Word document that has page numbers in the header starting on 300. 2. Open the MS Word document in Writer. 3. Notice that the first page is 44. The following start values for page numbers gives the following results. Starting page in MSWord -> Starting page in Writer 256 -> 1 (-255) 300 -> 44 (-256) 500 -> 244 (-256) 512 -> 1 (-511) 600 -> 88 (-512) It seems like the starting value is being truncated when it's too big for Writer to handle. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
