------- Additional comments from opensourceallthe...@openoffice.org Thu Jun 17 21:03:01 +0000 2010 ------- Currently there is a global setting (Tools/Options/OpenOffice Calc/View/Visual Aids/Grid Lines) that sets whether grid lines are seen while viewing spreadsheets. There should be a sheet-specific override of the global setting available to the user. There are many times where you want a specific sheet within a spreadsheet to display no grid lines because it makes the content more clear, but you want the rest of the sheets to display them. For example, you might have numerical data on one sheet (where you want the grid showing) and a text-based hierarchical tree of data on another (where you want the grid turned off). The ideal would be to keep the global setting but allow spreadsheet-wide and sheet-wide overrides in the same way that page orientation can be changed between sheets in the same spreadsheet. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
