It is a big inter-compatibility issue, that mean that I cannot use OO.org for work within my University, and I am forced to use MS Word. I found a workaround that is painful but can save your day: if you save the file in rtf format, and then do: sed 's/\\chcbpat/\\highlight/g' < in.rtf > out.rtf the out.rtf has the highlight editable in word.
