------- Additional comments from ron_newc...@openoffice.org Tue Nov 9 03:37:41 +0000 2010 ------- Same or similar to bug 114531: multiple crashes. File ("copy 5") was corrupted and OpenOffice kept throwing the "import file" box in my face instead of doing a file recovery. So, I opened it in TextEdit to copy out my new writing, about 4K or so of words. However, most of what's in TextEdit is garbage except for first few lines (path information). The path information looked slightly corrupt so I fixed those and saved again (file "Inform 7 for Programmers.odt"). Now when I open my document, OpenOffice asks to repair (picture attached). I say yes, but get a blank screen (pic 2) on 88K worth of words (pic 3). Also attached is an old backup copy (copy 4) for reference. Can someone please save my work? I'm missing about 8K worth of words since the last backup. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
