I unpacked the file <URL:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/data/reporter.mozilla.org/reporter_mozilla_org_anonymized.sql.gz
> to reporter_mozilla_org_anonymized.sql and I tried to import it into Writer.
The result was that the desktop became unresponsive and the Writer suddenly
crashed when its memory usage was approaching 700 MB.

I also have the following notice in .xsession-errors:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc'
  what():  std::bad_alloc
KCrash: Application 'soffice.bin' crashing...

The Writer should not crash like that; it should open the file read-only and
offer the operator to browse it; failing that, it should notify the operator
that it is unable to handle the file because it is too large.

And blocking the desktop until it crashed was not nice.
