2005 -------
Currently, the default behavior of the picture resizing handles for my setup

is to change the width and height independently of one another, leading to
distorted images. I have to use a modifier key (in my case, Shift) to get the
behavior of maintaining the Aspect Ratio of the original image.

IMO, this keying assignment is backwards. I think that the program should be
set up to keep the Aspect Ratio by default and to require the use of a
modifier key to resize the height and width independently.

BTW, the 'Shift' key modifier is, AFAIK, an undocumented keying sequence. I'm
going to cross-reference this defect with a documentation request.
