Hey everyone!
To try work around some sound issues in Ubuntu I recently bought one of these:

The audio output works just fine, but the input from the mic doesn't work at
all.
An extracted portion from running the alsa-info.sh script:

So it appears as though this USB device is being picked up as a generic USB
audio module. According to the manufacturer it uses the ACL4030 chip from
Realtek, but I can't find any info on this chip.

Does the generic USB audio driver support recording/input? I'm happy to
contribute towards the driver support if someone can point me in the right
direction.
