I have loaded a fresh install of debian etch to try this out. I created a file:
/etc/modprobe.d/snd_bt87x
and added,
options snd_bt87x load_all=1
then,
rmmod snd_bt87x
modprobe snd_bt87x
dmesg
which responds,
snd_bt87x: Unknown parameter 'load_all'.
