Since many (who upgrade and do not read RELEASE_NOTES) may get this error, would it be good to tell them to set it in amavisd.conf? Maybe something like: Unable to determine a FQDN $myhostname, you must explicitly set $myhostname to a FQDN in amavisd.conf, I got: "sfm" at /usr/sbin/amavisd-new line 8992. OK, so i created: $myhostname = 'sfm.example.com'; in amavisd.conf.
