2.3.3 includes changes to handle multiple search attributes.
OPS, retried and the expansion occurs. OTOH I started getting weird
errors in the log.
query_filter looks like this:
'(&(objectClass=amavisAccount)(|(mail=%m)(mailalternateaddress=%m)))'
and the directory server is a SunONE DS 5.2. The query in the DS log is:
"(&(objectClass=amavisAccount)(|(|([EMAIL PROTECTED])(mail=addy)([EMAIL PROTECTED])([EMAIL PROTECTED])([EMAIL PROTECTED])([EMAIL PROTECTED]))(|([EMAIL PROTECTED])(mailAlternateAddress=addy)([EMAIL PROTECTED])([EMAIL PROTECTED])([EMAIL PROTECTED])([EMAIL PROTECTED]))))"
attrs=ALL
All LDAP searches get 0 results and don't timeout. In the maillog
(loglevel=2):
Nov 28 10:30:46 srv-asgw03 amavis[1462]: (01462-02) NOTICE: do_search:
trying again: LDAP_OPERATIONS_ERROR

Nov 28 10:30:46 srv-asgw03 amavis[1462]: (01462-02) Requesting process
rundown after fatal error
As soon as I remove the double alias expansion the error does not occur
anymore and the message gets through (postqueue -f).
Weird, isn't it?! I am now increasing the loglevel and monitoring the
system. Fortunately it is not yet in production...
Anybody else experiencing the same behaviour?
