If you read about templates in amavisd.conf-sample you will see there are two ways to load in the external templates (read_text or read_l10n_templates). You could break out the templates and translate them yourself. The downside is there are occasionally changes to the templates when a new version of amavisd-new is released, so you may have to update them when this happens (if the change is incompatible). I have broken out many of the templates, but they are version specific. Here are samples for 2.4.5 en_US: http://www200.pair.com/mecham/amavisd/2.4.5/en_US/ I only have English samples.
