The daily did not provide any details about the request. Skopje has supported efforts to disarm Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's regime but refused to participate in a possible military operation. According to the daily, the Macedonian government agreed to contribute a medical corps to reconstruction efforts after any eventual conflict.
