I am wondering to incorporate the social media data of users to Arches. I am currently working on representing and analyzing the location-based social media data in GIS. I think the data which users generated in different social media, e.g., Facebook, can be good sources, because: - Facebook has huge users - People provide extensive information on Facebook, including semantic comments, spatial locations and photos - Some data has a standard format to export/ import, e.g., open graph It is also possible to connect the Facebook account for Arches. I have established a website to extract the locations of posts for Facebook users: http://geosocialevents.appspot.com/, and wish this can be helpful to enrich the database and attract more users for Arches.
