Hi Brian. Just to double-check, is this a local installation, and are you 
running the django dev server? If that's the case, I would expect 
everything to work out-of-the-box. If you are on a remote server and/or 
using apache (or, are you using docker?) then there are a few more 
variables that could be getting in the way.

At any rate, it would probably be best if you could either post some 
screenshots here, or make an issue on the Arches github repo: 
https://github.com/archesproject/arches/issues
