Hi Kevin, In response to your post, I believe you are asking about altering what data is being collected and stored in an Arches implementation using the v4 Arches Designer (as opposed to the RDM, which only manages the controlled vocabularies/authorities). If you are using Arches v4, there is documentation on how to add or edit nodes within the Arches Designer:
- If you are using Arches v4.2 or previous versions, that information is found in the Arches documentation here: https://arches.readthedocs.io/en/4.2.0/using-the-arches-designer/ - If you are using Arches v4.3, that information is currently available using the help window within the Arches application. To access this, while in the Arches Designer, click on the help button (i.e. the question mark - "?") in the top right hand corner. A help window with information on the current page should pop up. So, in order to see the help information on adding/editing nodes, you should click on the help button after selecting a particular resource model to edit. We plan on also including this information in the current Arches documentation soon. You can also create an entirely new resource using the Arches Designer, if you feel that you would prefer to start from the beginning. However, it might be better to start with the resource models provided in Arches-HIP and edit those to suit your needs. Hopefully, I understood your question correctly and this is of help to you. If not, do respond with some specific information or questions (e.g. what Arches version you are using, etc.) Best, Annabel Lee Enriquez Getty Conservation Institute On Friday, September 7, 2018 at 3:00:48 AM UTC-7, lu kevin wrote: > > Dear all, > > I am doing a research about establishing an Arches website for some > Chinese heritage buildings in Taiwan.
