Would you believe that Shankar saw the Surya starrer Gajini only recently? Yes, and he was all praises for Surya's performance. The moment finished watching the flick, he rang up the hero and heaped his praises on him. Surya was pleased and expressed that he would love to work in one of Shankar's projects. Shankar has promised that he would keep it in his mind and that it would not take long. Shankar's Sivaji is expected to release this Deepavali. He has also promised to make a film for Venkatesh, the Telugu hero who has turned a producer now. As Surya has a good fan base both in Andhra and Tamil Nadu, maybe Shankar thinks it wise to rope this guy in for his next Telugu flick which will also be dubbed in Tamil simultaneously. Surya then has enough time to complete his Jillennu Oru Kaadhal and the much delayed Chennaiyil Oru Mazhai Kaalam.
