Wow...I am absolutely floored at the way City Council is STILL 
willing to bend over backwards to these developers. Shouldn't they 
at least have to at least finish the boardwalk/restore the 
casino/restore Convention Hall before any more public property is 
given to them? Why bother giving them something else to break when 
its apparent they can't fix the messes they were given 3 years ago.

My guess is the budget looks to be another $400k short for the 
coming year, and the City has found another way for Daddy Warbucks 
to plug that hole. Hopefully there's enough to sell off for '06s 
budget as well. 

Oh, that's right...all these Plywood Palaces will be online by then 
& all the city's problems will be solved.

any chance the vote/appraisal/sale could get tied up until AFTER 
council elections in May? I wonder if a new council would have 1/2 
the affection for the Developers that this council has.
