Wow...I am absolutely floored at the way City Council is STILL willing to bend over backwards to these developers. Shouldn't they at least have to at least finish the boardwalk/restore the casino/restore Convention Hall before any more public property is given to them? Why bother giving them something else to break when its apparent they can't fix the messes they were given 3 years ago.
My guess is the budget looks to be another $400k short for the coming year, and the City has found another way for Daddy Warbucks to plug that hole. Hopefully there's enough to sell off for '06s budget as well. Oh, that's right...all these Plywood Palaces will be online by then & all the city's problems will be solved. any chance the vote/appraisal/sale could get tied up until AFTER council elections in May? I wonder if a new council would have 1/2 the affection for the Developers that this council has. --- In [EMAIL PROTECTED], "Tyler, Mark" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > You have it backwards Oakdorf.
