I'm not sure what is the best plan for the Ocean Avenue area. Do
people think that the Fishmans will tear down the Casino and put
condos up there? Will the whole area look similar, or have similar
purposes, as the Pier village development in Long Branch-like, very
expensive ($400,000 and up) condos plus stores? Maybe restaurants are
the way to go. There are so many malls and shopping centers in the
area, I think what people really want more of are the more old
fashioned downtown areas and boutiques, like what they have in ocean
grove and what is happening now on Cookman.
