So this generation of veterans can be spit upon, shamed, and discriminated against like the 2.5 million veterans of 30 years ago, which is the legacy & direct result of the actions of VVAW? So we can relive newsreel footage of an overloaded helicopter retreating in shame from the US embassy in Baghdad? So we can have a wounded & impotent nation which was not be able to protect itself against the stagflation & oil shock days of the late 70s?
