Legal and Financial Issues for Gay/Lesbian Couples Wachovia Securities and GayAsburyPark.com will host a seminar on the Legal and Financial issues gay and lesbian couples face now that they can take advantage of New Jersey's Domestic Partner Act. The seminar will be given by two presenters -- a financial advisor and an attorney. The topics of discussion will include: estate, tax and retirement planning; adoptions and second parent adoptions; how to take advantage of recent tax laws; health care decisions; growing and preserving wealth; the future of marriage and domestic partnership. The seminar is free and open to everyone. Location: Black Box Theater, 605 Mattison Ave, Third Floor, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.

"The Laramie Project" NENAproductions Theater Project will be presenting Moises Kaufman's play "The Laramie Project" at the Jersey Shore Arts Center, Main Street and Main Avenue, Ocean Grove, NJ. Performances are Friday and Saturday, February 4, 5. (See also Feb 11-13) Romaine Patterson will be at tonight's performance for the talk-back (see NEWS) Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door or by calling (732) 988-1007.

First Saturday Night - Mardi Gras Party A Mardi Gras celebration with food and drink, retail SUPER-SALES, live music, a citywide trolley tour, loft tours, restaurant package giveaways and much more. Over 35 merchants participating! Shops stay open until 10 p.m. and the festivities continue with an after party at Asbury Lanes. 1500 people attended the first event - come be a part of a memorable time in a magical place. This event is the second in a series to be held the first Saturday of each month.
