It would be so cool if there was some pavillion action this summer. Asbury Partners would be shocked at how much would be forgiven if they did even a small amount.
I think they will be shocked at just how fast the idea of redevelopment could happen if they only tried moving it along a bit. People are dying to see things on that boardwalk. They talk about people coming to check it out at first but then not coming back... What reason (or things on the boardwalk) should have brought them back?
If the boardwalk was full of stores, people will come back. There are so few beaches in Monmouth County with places to eat within walking distances. Even towns like Belmar have gotten rid of many of the food establishments near the beach. You need a few places and you need variety; that will bring people back.
