i was walking around today, and saw the new street
curbing for the new seventh ave. (and sixth ave.) i
forgot who, but someone on this list a while back said
they were going to scale back the width of the
streets. i think the angle they were taking was that
it was a bad thing. but if you stand on kingsly
street, and look east towards ocean ave. then back
west towards main. you can see the "fan out" follows
the same shape that is presently on the west side of
kinglsy street. isnt that how it use to be years ago?
before they filled in the grass area with the angled
on street parking? i guess the main loss is the on
street parking in the "fan" area of 7th ave. it
doesnt appear possiable to have any. unless its
paralell parking. just some coments and statements
here, dont really have a view on it just yet.
