It's piece work; if Larry thought he'd get away with it, the boardwalk
would now be 4 x 8 sheets of particle board.  The bigger the
dimensional lumber used, the cheaper the labor component in the
finished product/contract price.  

You didn't think The Fish was worried about aesthetics for one minute
