Hey look, I'm defending Tommy. Tom's right on this one. It is a long- established legal term, inresponse to which in Property Law, there is the doctrine of the Rule Against Perpetuities. On the other hand Tom, the Pony is just another example of what has been allowed to happen in AP. We are STUCK with a developer who builds nothing, and quite frankly, I fear, may be making us (AP) miss the boat. I've spent a lot of time in AP this Summer and I still can't figure what is going on. Last night I rode to the bike store on the boardwalk about 8 pm. The bw was still jumping for a while. Some places were still open, including Art's Ices, which my daughter tells me is run by Fishman's wife. I can't believe its her. What are we playing house here? Again I say it, there has been a big improvement in the bw attendance this year (we always said to open the Casino pass thru), however, imagine what it could be if you actually BUILT something? Riding then to OC and back home, the contrast between the towns was clear (both good and bad). I am afraid that the current council, considering that KJWK and Ed Johnson are only two votes, will change nothing. My grandmother used to have a saying; "He who goes slowly goes wholly and far." However, sometimes you just get to the dance too late. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get fast access to your favorite Yahoo! Groups.
