This type of thought is rampant among liberals. You believe that your opinions are arrived at by unbiased thought, but anyone who disagrees with you has a hidden, unpure bias. How elitist it is to think you've cornered the market on analysis, and you alone hold it. No need to even consider the other man's point of view, because you are convinced you are right.
