You're right.
You need that draw, like it or not. As far as artists and antiques, to
me, their better left to the monthly events or shared spaces that
works. For the downtown to move on, you need some major spaces back on
cookman- you need the Steinbach retail done, with a downtown anchor.
You need the space occuppied by Fitness Lifestyles (moved down and up)
opened to a major tenant (nothing against him - just better use of
space, you need Sitar space back and Corbo's off Main. Get Wesley lake
sales office out as well - more wasted space.
You spend all the $ on marketing you want.
Waht you need are both National Retailers who can support the little
guys with ambition. And parking.
