One of the most riskiest propositions is to buy a property that is scheduled to be condemned. In fact, they are rarely bought and thus, that is why there is a thing called condemnation blight. It is the opposite of project enhancement. The law recognizes it and there are books on it. Only a mad man buys a property to be condemned thinking he could make a profit. And considering the track record of condemnation awards in NJ, that is even more so. NJ is not like NY, in which property owners get paid for fixtures and improvements to the property. Pat and Denny have better ways to make money than buying the Baronet and Fast Lane. They are doing it on principle. Your glass is always half empty. It must be depressing to be you. Sorry for your troubles. See a behavior specialist.
