I've been reading this board for months, but this is my first post.
I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I own a 1br condo in the
grand regency over on eighth avenue. We inherited the tenants who have
been there for 8 or 9 years. They have been absolutely perfect. They
pay their rent on time, do not complain and do not generate complaints.

The reason for this post is that the City just inspected the building
and cited them for overcrowding (they have 3 children under age 5) and
are forcing them to move. I knew at some point they would need to move
out, I just didn't anticipate it being this soon. It's going to be gut
wrenching telling them that they've been perfect but they have to get
out.

I am going to point them in the direction of Hispanic affairs, but I
wanted to reach out to the people on this board for advice on how to
further assist them.

Thanks in advance,
-Rick
