"As a result, the traffic lanes will be smaller and the Park will no
longer be a square. With the new Rectangle shape (and curve) the
diagonal sidewalks will no longer be symetrical or even terminate at
the corners."

narrowing the roads is a good thing, however i think they may have gone overboard and made them too narrow!  a little would have been all right, consiering before they were very wide.  probably too wide, considering all the extra heat conducted, and wasted space in general.  grass and plants in the middle "Trinagle sectionis" looks a lot better then having 10 feet of extra road space.  just making some comments, not deciding whats right or wrong.  whatever comes to my mind at the moment.
the curve in the road in front of convention hall is a good thing i think.  it will make the convetion hall stand out more, having a bigger "drop off" or sidewalk area in front.  HOWEVER, the curve does NOT look like the same curve i saw in drawings.  in print, the curve was a "soft curve", an arch if you will.  the portoin of the curbing already instakled, shows almost 35 degree sharp angles.  i dont see any cuuurving!
