[AsburyPark] Private Emails I was Granted Permission to Post Here

Here is some background to this whole affair.  It includes private emails sent to me which you'll see Tommy gave permission, 4 times, to post.
 
August 25 Tommy sends me private email:
 
Hi Mario!   I haven't heard from you in a while.  How are you?   I know you keep close track of AP and I always respect your opinions.  I wanted to know what you thought of my column this week.  I've attached it in case you haven't seen it.   You can post it anywhere if you wish, because I know you go on a few different Asbury message boards.   Let me know what you think.
The column he asked me to post here was about the Baronet and what he called the "Nostalgia Nazis."
 
 
There were 15 responses from others in this group within a day or two: See threads "Red Meat," DeSeno Makes Me Sick," and "Tommy DeSeno is He Batter."
 
Just about all were negative about the column or the writer.
 
That ended it for me.
 
September 27 Tommy sends me another request. This time to promote his blog:

I did not respond to him nor did I post here about his blog.
 
October 4  Tommy sends me another private email:

October 12 - 15 a series of private emails between us debating Marxism, Zinn, Keady, et al.
 
In those exchanges, I explained that I did not get back to him because I wanted to spare him all the negative comments he received. 
 
Then:
 

...Please consider that I saved an email I got from Jim Keady regarding Columbus Day.  It was BEFORE I wrote anything.  In the email he apologized for cursing at me and calling me names in a phone call he made to me, because during that conversation I reminded him that I was not cursing or calling him names. I have not received an apology from his wife, who sent me an email saying nothing more than: "You're a jerk." This too was BEFORE I had written anything.

Why were Mr. and Mrs. Keady calling me and emailing me when I had not even spoken publicly about the Columbus issue?  My sole crime was that I dressed my kids as Indians for the Columbus landing. 

You see, Mr. and Mrs. Keady believe in free speech as long as it is theirs.  My free speech of dressing my kids for the Columbus landing didn't get their respect - If got me called "Fucking Idiot" "Fucking lunatic" and "Jerk."  Oh how respectful of the opinions of others!  Do you think that might have been on my mind when writing my column?

I bet though you'll still think I'm the guy with contempt in his heart and not them.  The false labeling comes with the territory of being conservative - I'm used to it and can't do anything about it so I won't even try. 

I see below that any affiliation with me causes you grief from others. I don't want your reputation ruined for knowing me, so I'll ease you of that burden.  You need not interact with me.  You can let whomever they are know that you told me off but good so you can get back in their good graces.  I'll even say yes if the ask if it's true.

In fact, if you tell them you called me a "Fucking Idiot" and "Jerk" you might get elected to City Council.

The roll suggests the assassination of the Presdent.  I note you don't even try to come up with what else it could be suggesting.  It is quite clear. 

Look, I already said that you can tell peoiple you are victorious in our discussion, so that I can end it.  I don't care to argue with a wall there is nothing in it for me.

What else do you want with me?  Keady insulted me.  Sorry you don't agree and I could't care less if you agree.

Today I called for Jim Keady to resign his City Council position, based
upon is advocating for Howard Zinn's works to be taught to children in
Asbury Park.

Zinn in a video suggests the assassination of the President of the
United States.

The Forest:     Tommy politely asked me to promote his column and his blog to this group.  When I disagreed with the content, his tone, shall we say, changed somewhat.  If the Trees bore, so be it.
