1. Tommy to Councilman Keady:
"Jim you don't have to apologize to
me. We are two fairly "regular" guys. Our conversations are going to be a little
salty sometimes. That's never going to be shared with anyone or ever held
against you. I'm glad you feel comfortable enough with me to speak to me
like a regular guy. You know you're still one of my heroes when it comes to public speaking." Ah, "Nobility: the quality of elevation of mind and exaltation of character
or ideals or conduct"!
======================================
2. Tommy did share those salty remarks with me
along with the implication that they "might have been on my mind when writing
my column?"
I carelessly forgot to delete those passages when I posted Tommy's emails
to me.
=================================================
3. And Tommy quickly takes me to task for my sharing oversight:
"In Mario's endless quest to hit
me, he hit Jim instead....Jim wasn't expecting his words to
be put on the Internet. It was not right of Mario to do that to him." Ah, "Duplicity: the quality or state of being twofold or double"!
(Or are we into "triplicity" here?
Mea culpa. I agreed, accepted responsibility and apologized
to Keady both privately and publicly here.
===================================
Keady has apologized. I have apologized. Even Rush Troglodyte
Limbaugh has apologized.
And Tommy?
Tommy remains resolute and unwavering like our president who is praised for
those qualities.
Mea maxima culpa,
