of them, downfall of convention hall is that it was built on pilings or
piers right over the ocean, hence no cellar no storage space, to store
needed equipment, to make it economical to switch from one event to
another, like most facilities do. perfect example is the bb floor and
hoop posts are being stored in lees arcade(i believe i still hold many
records there) and the restaurant south of the main entrance, this is
prime rental space being used for storage, please do not get me wrong i
am not saying they should throw this equipment away, since it was
bought by the taxpayers is in great shape and was left with the blding,
for the new occupants ie fishman etal
