"Seems like a waste of money doing all that painting and paving, only to have to do it again at some point in time" i guess almost everywhere in the country wastes money then too, becasue thats how its done everywhere. different machuiens are used to do the street, the ramps around the covers are done by hand. not at the same time. look for a fix in the next few days im sure.
