when you talk about having convention hall being a destination. what exaclty do you mean? are you talking about higher things, more then what its been used for in the past? (before the whole redevelopment stuff started) i think its just something that is there, everyone knows its there. they attend it, and thats that. i dont think it will ever be a grand place. look at the old convention hall in atlantic city. that isnt a destination place really. there are a lot of other new things around it, including a new convention center. wouldnt you think the older, more historical one would be more of a destination point? but its not, how come?
