I honestly didn't think an arrest would be made. I just had that
feeling. I don't think anyone meant to kill this man, but he died,
nevertheless. Sad, when anyone loses their life, here. It stinks to
high heaven and the reports in the Press are always negative! I tell
you, I'm seriously considering DROPPING my subscription, that I've
had, for over 25 years! When I moved to this state, all I read, were
negative reports about AP! Nothing good, so when I moved to Neptune,
I was smug, in that, my Black kids, would be protected there. No
true there, either. I found the teachers to be bigoted and what few
Black teachers, marched to the regulations of the township, but
privately agreed with ME! I came from proactive parents of the WWII,
generation. They raised us with an iron fist, in a cotton glove!
Kids did as they were told, had manners and never disrespected their
elders. It was "Yes Ma'm and No Sir"! You never looked an adult, in
the eye! It was a sign of disrespect! I know, I tried it a few
times and got told on! Now, we live in an age, where no one respects
anyone, which is why peoples lives are ended at the point of a gun or
beaten to death! I pray for the repose of this young man's soul and
all those murdered on the West Side. They never got a chance to
live; cut down, in the flower of their lives. I hope justice is
served, for this young man's family, that he didn't die in vain.
