> The program was made to help white students avoid coming to the
Asbury Park
> High School. Now I said it.

Maybe you're right.

Maybe those parents who elected to send their kids somewhere else so
they might have an opportunity to learn. Greanted, those kids in AP
should have the same opportunity.

But the school system has MORE money to spend on programs then ANY
other school in the county and the state. But it doesn't happen. Why?

Forget the "white" kids for now and concentrate on the real problem -
that the school is out of control for one reason or another. Sticking
100 white kids in there won't make a bit of difference.

Here goes:

Save your kids.
Close the High school to new students for september 07
Ship the 8th graders elsewhere - private schools at tax payer funded
abbott money.

Sept 07: Then you have 10th, 11th, and 12th grades next year. Keep
all the teachers.
Sept 08: 11th 12th grades. Kick up the Culinary Insitute.
Sept 09: 12th Grade Only. Introduce School of Arts and Sciences. Not
for the smartest kids in the county - but for those that want to go
that direction. Not based on grades only - but interview.
